Description
My final submission to =theluminarium's pack 5th Dimension.
This work was inspired by the Swan Nebula (m17) pretty while ago. The first version of the work was pretty lame and I had to put it away.
I recalled about this work when I saw a work by my fellow artist =JoeJesus. His Brightscape reminded me that I had a similar work waiting for me
And finally this work was inspired by this user icon
It was a nice opportunity to finally draw a space that is not dark and gloomy but bright and "joy" sort to say. I decided to start the work from the white sheet to get rid of the previous mistakes and implement my new skills in painting nebs.
Techs:
Size - 4800х3000
Time - day
Layers - ~60
Software and hardware used: Photoshop CS4, Wacom Intuos3
I'm more than satisfied with this work. It turned out exactly as I imagined it. Hope you like it too

... I feel like i'm in the Mania forest of the Shivering Isles DLC, in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Hmm... that was a strangely accurate description. :/
