After browsing through amazing works of old-school space artists I couldn't stand but to make something similar :) Obviously this concept is not mine, I just wanted to revive that old style a bit :)

Size: 6000x4500px
Software used: mainly PS, 3dSMax to wrap the texture around the planet and Vue for the moon.

Amazing picture. The colour is really good. My favourite thing is the cities on the surfaces of the planets.
