Pure by Pr3t3nd3r Pure by Pr3t3nd3r
I was browsing through my old photos and this one turned out to be my first minimalistic shot ever :) And I made this shot more than a year ago!

Funny, but I never thought I'd be shooting minimalistic shots in the future at all and this one was actually made by accident :D

Also, this is one of those shots with VERY little photoshop. Here I just turned to BW and slightly, I mean very slightly darkened the trees.

I was very lucky to leave even the RAW file to this (I still wonder, cause I was deleting shots like this back then :D)

Anyway, I'm very proud of it and hope you like it :)

Tech:

Canon EOS 400D + Canon 70-300mm, RAW; 1/400s, f/5.6, ISO 400, photoshop (bw, resize, frame).

Awesome minimalism! I think the frame is what makes this one look so great. Gives the horizon line context.

haha.. you know, if you think about it, the only way something could be pure is if nothing was there. Nothing is pure. xD Very nice

Some artists strive to make their drawings look like photos, wheras this does the precise opposite :P

Very nicely done. The trees are the only thing seperating land from sky...

My res is huge (1920 x 1200). But it actually looks nice this way, I just centered it and set it to be white around the outside. Makes my desktop look really clean.
