UPDATE (28.11.2008): I've got a DD! :D Thanks a lot for all your support, favs and comments!

And finally my most beloved and creative work (imo :D) for recent *theluminarium's pack "Prismatic"

Some of you already seen it in the pack and some saw it on our website but those meant nothing because of one thing.....you couldn't fav it there! :D

Anyway, I got this idea for a looooong time and I even made a little sketch of this. The original idea was a bit different, I mean the setting but then when the theme was decided I thought I could fit it in there nicely if I make some changes.

I was browsing for nice stock photos for months untill I decided to make everything myself. I've bought a grey carton paper, stick it to the wall in the bathroom, installed a basin in front of it and was throwing things in it for couple of hours :D

I took roughly 200 photos and used the best moments to create this flower. I wasn't counting but I think I've used ~25-30 photos for it.

Then I had to make a nice bg and I've asked ~Melya to assist :)

So make sure to check her gallery, cause she helped me a lot with this piece! ;)

Daily Deviation"The Scarlet Flower by =Pr3t3nd3r is an amazingly talented display of photomanipulation. When you read the artist's comment, you'll find that lacking the right stock, he took over 200 photos himself to construct the perfect vision of what he had in mind; a rainbow-coloured flower, completely constructed from water. That's stunning enough, but then to view the result and see how seamlessly it all came together is incredible." (Suggested by *Eicats and Featured by `WilderWein77)

Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It's not a thing to be waited for - it is a thing to be achieved.
:jawdrop: Lev! This is genius! Only 200 photos to go through to get this perfect piece of work...that is impressive! :omg: I am glad you decided to make the water yourself. I just get over how beautiful this is...I am speechless! :faint:

How du you suggest this as a DD? OMG!!
this picture made my jaw drop at first glance. its an amazing idea. at first i thought you created this in one shot, and i was really wondering how it was even possible, but then i realized that you used a bunch of photos together for it, so its really cool the effect you got, and i LOVE the colors so much. This photo deserves a DD.

Old mother Hupboard went to the cupboard to fetch her poor dog a bone.
When she bent over, Rover took over and gave her a bone of his own.
It's beautiful! Holy shit, the stark contrast between the colours and the dark background is gorgeous! I totally love it, and i can't believe how much work you put into this!
Grats!

Maybe darkness isn't as bad as you thought...
